building self-confidence & increasing well-being

Designed for 11 – 15-year-olds, the project focuses on building self-confidence and increasing well being.
Young people involved with this project will be encouraged to connect with nature and be active in an outdoor environment, participate in cooking workshops, growing food and sharing food together at The Community Garden.
We create an environment for personal growth and development with support from professionals within our community, youth workers and experienced youth project facilitators.

Where: The Community Garden
When: Throughout the year – please contact us for further details of scheduled events programmes.

Learn more about how to become a volunteer, sponsor, participant, customer or a friend to growing links! We not only need volunteers to cook for the homeless but also to help with weeding; sowing or harvesting; working on our market stall; delivering our veg; as well as helping with funding bids and business planning. You can also just come and sit in our garden and listen to the birds!
