TREE FIELD
Wetland, meadow and wilderness with organised spaces for wellbeing activities. The tree field is uncultivated and has been re-wilded for the last 26 years. We have a range of birds including Tawny Owls, Dunnocks, Wrens, Finches, Red Starts and Lapwings alongside foxes, badgers, bats, slow worms and a million insects. Cornish Black bees have colonised a wild tree stump hive alongside our own bee hives.
300 trees have been planted to booster hedges and we will be helping the reed beds to flourish. Ruins of an ancient chapel are hidden in the undergrowth to discover. Connect with nature, just sit and breathe, listen to the birds, look at the wild flowers and grasses that thrive in this beautiful field, it is the antidote to modern life.
